our APPROACH

Due to the complexity of the new building design process and because of the escalated need for specialized supporting systems and products, NAYA Architecture has adopted a cooperative design management model that encourage interaction between different stakeholders and contributors. This leads to reduced risk of failure in achieving the project’s goal and the stakeholders requirements and expectations.

Through following the Project Management methodology in managing the design process, NAYA Architecture ensures an effective coordination between the different design teams and ensures effective communications between the various stakeholders.

NAYA Architecture follows the Project Management Methodology in managing the design process to achieve the project’s scope of work on Budget and on Time within the stakeholder expectations.

NAYA Architecture divides the Design Process into 5 main phases:

1.Initiation- by defining the needs and requirements of the stakeholders and the needed standards and references where it should be followed.

2.Planning- to put the plan on how to perform the work. To ensure that the project scope of work, budget and schedule will be met NAYA adopts International design methodology like RIBA Outline Plan of Work which set out the activities required for the successful completion of the work stages.

3.Design- where the project’s overall design is worked out by directing the team and coordinating the efforts of the team so that interdisciplinary information flows smoothly and at the right time.

4.Production- preparing the construction documents and other deliverables based on the contract. This process is monitored against the project objective, budget and schedule.

5.Closeout- Completing the project work and Learning from what went right, what went wrong, and how to improve performance on the next project. This lessons learned are used to update our database of Design processes, procedures and the technical information.
